Britney Spears will be back on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER as a guest star, reprising her role of Abby, on the May 12 episode.

"We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again. And just
to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very
nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you," said Craig Thomas,
executive producer and co-creator, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

Synopsis of the episode: When Barney and Abby realize
that they have one thing in common - their mutual hatred of Ted - the
“couple” decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in
Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops
a surprising question to Abby.

Britney Spears pay her lawyers at least $372,500

A Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner has authorized the lawyers who represent Britney Spears and her family in various legal cases to be paid more than $372,500 for their services through March 31.

Commissioner Reva Goetz on Thursday, April 17, 2008, also delayed action on a motion to put Spears' companies and business entities in her trust. It will now be heard on July 31, the same day a probate court is scheduled to decide on a permanent conservatorship for the troubled pop singer.


Other news this week , Britney Spears trusted friend Sam Lufti, has agreed once again to stay away from her till July 31. The order came about on Wednesday Apr 16 and it was revealed at a Los Angeles court, People magazine reported. The had been slapped on Lufti in February 08 after Spears mother accused him of having drugged the 26-year-old singer.

In the meantime, the singer's father Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet are to remain in legal control over her affairs. The court will review the conservatorship again on July 31, but it is expected that their control will be extended.

according to Life & Style magazine, they reported that after catching “Idol Gives Back” on TV Wednesday evening, singer Britney Spears decided to donate $25,000 to the charity fundraiser.

"Miss American Dream" had gotten permission from dad, Jamie Spears, who is currently her conservator, before making the contribution and charging the donation to her Amex.

"She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria," revealed a source.

She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites.

Britney Spears Car Accident Again

It seems that the word 'Trouble' for is nothing that Britney Spears can't handle these days. As it was reported that on Saturday night, April 12, she was involved in a car accident.

Following the news on her accident, Britney Spears has been reported to have crashed her Mercedes-Benz into a 2006 Nissan while driving through the 101 Freeway in L.A. Allegedly, the incident led to a minor chain-reaction as the Nissan which been hit by the troubled pop star then crashed into another car in front of it.

One of the California Highway Patrol officer Patrick Kimball revealed the reason why Britney crashed her car, saying "She failed to notice that the vehicle in front of her had come to a complete stop. She attempted to break but failed to stop her vehicle prior to colliding with a 2006 Nissan." Fortunately for Britney, nobody was injured because of the accident. Kimball revealed the fact to the press, saying "nobody was injured"

The Web site TMZ.com says, "She was driving the same way most women in L.A. do — putting on her makeup behind the wheel."

After the accident, Britney went into an Italian restaurant Dominick's to enjoy a dinner with her mother Lynne Spears and Jackie, Lynne's friend. The pop star then went home to her Mullholland Drive house after it at 11 P.M.
